# Introduction

**Candlestick chart patterns are used by many traders to detect trends in stock prices. Today chartists post their observations on social media or trading platforms and usually do not benefit from these efforts. Application** [***chartsmaster*** ](https://www.chartsmaster.com)**was created to unify chartists in one platform and reward them for their skills. Chartists can vote on future trends in stock prices by studying chart patterns and their votes are saved and evaluated at the end of each voting horizon. Correct prediction will improve a chartist’s reputation which in return will increase his/her vote weight. Vote results are displayed on a leaderboard page and are used by market participants. Candle coin token ( $CANDL ) will be used to reward voters and incentivize them to participate consistently.**
